Appendix B.  Mammal List

Mammal sightings were good again, especially in Belize, which still has habitat to protect these larger animals. We ended with 20 species on the list. The number of butterflies we saw was amazing. Most of us could not identify them, but still enjoyed the dazzling colors. Don C. recognized most of them for us and kept a personal list, but I only saw the list early on in the trip. He must have identified hundreds by the end of the trip.
